It captures screen, camera and multiple audio sources simultaneously, then edits the footage on a multi-track timeline built for tutorials, product demos and course content.

It is sold as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, distributed both directly from telestream.net and through the Mac App Store, where the build is Apple-notarized and sandboxed. The app is closed-source with no published independent security audit, so trust here rests on Apple's notarization process and Telestream's multi-decade track record rather than on inspectable code.
