Trust
Privacy Policy
Altapp exists to make software trustworthy — that starts with how we treat your data. This policy is short because our data practices are short.
What we collect
- Account data. If you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from the provider you choose (LinkedIn, Google, Apple, or the email address you enter). We never see your passwords, and we receive no posting access to any of your accounts.
- Content you write. Reviews and app requests you submit, together with the name shown on your account. Published reviews are public and display your name.
What we don’t collect
- No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies, no fingerprinting.
- No browsing profiles: reading Altapp requires no account and sets no tracking cookies.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with advertisers — ever.
How we use your data
Account data is used to operate your account, attribute the reviews you choose to publish, and moderate submissions. LinkedIn verification status is used only to enable review and app-request privileges. That’s the full list.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the EU — Frankfurt region) and served through Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf; neither is permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account and everything attached to it at any time by emailing hello@altapp.store. Deletion removes your account, reviews and requests permanently.
Third-party links
App pages link to developers’ official websites, stores and repositories. Once you leave Altapp, those sites’ own policies apply — that’s exactly why we publish Trust Reports about them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted on this page before they take effect.
