Our verdict: a genuinely capable, fully-local screen recorder from Altapp's own team — cursor auto-zoom, a magnetic editor and a live teleprompter, sold direct as a one-time purchase. Launching soon; disclosed because we build it.
TrackShot is a native macOS screen recorder that turns raw captures into polished videos automatically. It records your cursor path as data — not just pixels — to drive smooth, cursor-tracking auto-zoom, then lets you fine-tune on a magnetic timeline: ripple edits, a zoom track, camera/screen scene layouts, text overlays and a live teleprompter. Everything stays on your Mac — no accounts, no uploads, no analytics; recordings live in a folder you own.
Full disclosure: TrackShot is built by Roomanos Labs, the team behind Altapp, and will be sold directly here on Altapp — its official home — as a one-time $49 purchase (no subscription), launching soon. It is listed with the same Trust Report process we apply to every other app; we would rather tell you it is ours than quietly promote it.
